Eagles, golf, tennis, figure skating, a jersey, a ball, a stick, a puck. If it’s a famous signature,
it’s a great item to donate!
Gift Certificates – Restaurant gift certificates are always a big hit. Why not get one from
your favorite store, swim club or beauty salon? Ask the management for a gift certificate or
purchase one to donate.
Vacation Home – Do you own a vacation home? Donate a week or weekend for a
mutually agreed upon time. Airline tickets from frequent flier miles or a travel agent.
Arts & Crafts – Are you an artist? Do you own artwork or craft items you’d like to donate?
These are always very popular.
Event Tickets – Do you own season tickets to the Phillies, Flyers, Sixers, Eagles,
Riversharks, Trenton Thunder, etc.? Everybody wants to see a big game. Donate a game or
two of your choosing. Concert tickets, casino shows and theatre tickets also make great
items. You can purchase them or donate your own.
Kids Activities – Wherever you take your children - that is a great idea for a donation!
Passes to amusement parks, the zoo, movie tickets, the Franklin Museum, the Art Museum,
and the Academy of Natural Sciences are all great items. You can also donate a birthday
party, tea party or skating party at your favorite place. Planning a birthday party? Ask for a
donated party.
Golf Outing – Do you belong to a golf club? Where is your favorite place to play? Sponsor
a foursome or donate the greens fees. You can make it a day and add lunch. How about a
tennis outing with lunch?
Fun and Games for Adults – Get together with a few friends donate a “theme” evening of
wine tasting, dinner, karaoke, or mystery dinner. Do you know a professional chef? Ask if
they’ll donate a dinner in someone’s home.
Personal Skills or Talents – Do you have, or know someone who has a special talent -
photography, tutoring, artistry, massage, legal services, financial services, computer
expertise? Donate a few hours for a group or an individual.
